Thamer AlMuhid brings over 30 years of international market experience.
Between 2020 and 2025, he has served as the Group CEO and Managing Director of Saudi Chemical Company Holding (SCCH) ; a Saudi joint stock investment company established in 1972, encompassing five subsidiaries focusing on healthcare; SITCO Pharma, AJA Pharma, CCCI, and explosives, both civil and military; Saudi Chemical Company Limited, Suez International Nitrate Company "SINCO" . Under Thamer's leadership, the company has undergone a remarkable transformation toward sustainable growth.
Prior to joining “SCCH”, Thamer held leadership positions in prestigious organizations, including Almarai Company, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, SABIC, SABIC GE, and the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.
Thamer is an active contributor to various industry and government bodies, as well as traded, non-traded, and nonprofit organizations. He serves as a board member at the Industrial Center by a resolution of the Council of Ministers since May 2024. He is also an Executive Committee Member of the Saudi Arabia & Thailand Business Council since May 2023.
In 2024, Thamer AlMuhid was recognized among the “Best 100 CEOs in the Arab World” list and received the “Professional Excellence Award” by Global Awards. In the same year, he was ranked #67 among Forbes Middle East’s Top 100 CEOs, previously ranked #89 in 2022, He also secured the #15 spot on Forbes Middle East’s Top 50 Healthcare Leaders in 2022.
Also in 2022 under his leadership, Saudi Chemical Company Holding was named one of the top 10 most innovative companies in KSA by Forbes ME in collaboration with the Research, Development, and Innovation Authority.
Thamer holds a BSC in Civil Engineering from King Saud University. Additionally, he has earned two MBAs, one in Mergers and Acquisitions from TU Wien Austria, and another in Global Management from Thunderbird School of Management in Arizona, USA.
