Sultan Al Mahmoud

Chief Human Resources Officer at Commercial Bank of Dubai since February 2023, United Arab Emirates.

He has over 20 years of experience in leadership and institutional development, having held a number of positions, including: Head of Human Resources at Al Hilal Bank between 2017 and 2023, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Etihad Airways between 2015 and 2017, and Executive Director of Strategic Performance at Tourism Development and Investment Company between 2011 and 2015.

He also held the position of Deputy CEO and Head of Human Resources at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank between 2005 and 2011, Director of Employee Relations and Compensation at the Presidential Flight Authority between 2002 and 2005, and Director of Business Accounts at Citibank between 2000 and 2002.

He holds a Master’s degree in National Defense and Security in 2015 from the National Defense College in the UAE, a Master’s degree in Human Resources Development in 2000 from Webster University Geneva in Switzerland, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1998 from the same university.
