Strategy and Operations Lead for the Biotechnology Sector at the National Livestock and Fisheries Development Program since May 2025, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He has been the Institutional Excellence Lead at the same organization since December 2024, and a joint expert in microbiological risk assessment at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO) since April 2023.

He worked as the National Antimicrobial Resistance Focal Point of Saudi Arabia at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Gulf Cooperation Council for Laboratories, affiliated with the Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO).

He also held several positions at the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), including:

He holds a PhD in Molecular Bacteriology and Infection from the University of Copenhagen, a Master's degree in Life Sciences and Biotechnology from Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland, a Master's degree in Public Policy, Management, and Leadership from the KAPSARC School of Public Policy in Saudi Arabia, and a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from King Saud University.
