Sheikha Rasha Ahmed Al Qasimi's Bio
Assistant Director General of the Public Health and Central Laboratories Sector in the Sharjah Municipality.
Al Qasimi also works as an assistant professor at the College of Health Sciences at the University of Sharjah.
She joined the Sharjah Municipality in 1999 as a microbiological analyst, and after obtaining her doctorate, she was appointed head of the Food Laboratory Department in 2004, then she was assigned the duties of Assistant Director General for Health, Environment and Quality Affairs in 2006, before her position became Assistant Director General for the Health Sector. Public and central laboratories, after making changes in the municipal structure.
She participated in membership in a number of committees, such as Bee’ah Company, membership in the Health Sciences Advisory Council, and the Applied Sciences Advisory Council at the University of Sharjah.
She completed her secondary education at “Riffa Secondary School for Girls,” then joined the College of Science at “Emirates University,” then at the “British University of Reading” at the College of Food Science and Technology in 2003.
