Sheikha Mariam bint Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's Bio
Deputy Head of the Presidential court for National Projects Affairs with the rank of Minister since March 8, 2024, United Arab Emirates.
She has been the President of the National Center for Quality in Education since July 2023, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Salama Bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation , the Vice President of the Education and Human Resources Council since May 18, 2023, and the Honorary President of the UAE Special Olympics since October 2017.
She is also a principal advisor for the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Scholarship Program for Higher Education at New York University Abu Dhabi, and co-executive director of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Scholarship Program at the same university.
She assumed the position of Vice-Chairman of the “Committee for the Celebration of the Golden Jubilee of the UAE” in 2021, and contributed to the restoration of the “Al-Hosn Cultural District”, and was the supervisor of the UAE Pavilion in both the “Venice Biennale 2013” and “Expo Dubai 2020”. She also supervised a number of initiatives, such as the UAE National Day celebrations and the Founder's Memorial.
She was awarded the "Emirates Pride Medal" in 2017 by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, for her initiatives in the national, humanitarian and academic fields.
She holds an MBA from Zayed University, and a BA in Family Sciences. She also completed the Executive Leadership Development Program at Harvard Business School.
