Sheikha Ahmed Al Ali

Director of the Support and Follow-up Office at the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment since 2018, United Arab Emirates.

She has been the CEO of Happiness, Quality of Life and Tolerance at the same ministry since 2019, and the CEO of Happiness and Positivity therein since 2016.

She previously held a number of positions, including:

• Acting Assistant Undersecretary for the Regions Sector at the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment between March 2023 and December 2023.
• Director of the Customer Happiness Office at the same ministry between 2015 and 2017.
• Head of Customer Relations Department at the Ministry of Environment and Water between 2012 and 2015.
• Head of Customer Service Department at the Ministry of Environment and Water between 2011 and 2012.
• Operations Manager at National Bank of Fujairah between 2007 and 2011.
• Section Head and Deputy Manager at National Bank of Dubai between 2004 and 2007.

She participated in many regional and international events and initiatives, including: “ The World Government Summit ” in 2023, “Happiness Without Borders Initiative”, “Government Modernization and Knowledge Exchange Initiative”, and “Initiative to Improve the Experience of Saudi and Emirati Citizens”. She also participated in a number of “ Prime Minister’s Office ” projects, such as “My Expertise Project”.

She has more than 20 years of practical experience in the private and government sectors in the field of customer happiness, managing and developing services and service delivery channels, and promoting a culture of happiness, positivity, quality of life, tolerance and knowledge exchange at the local and regional levels.

She has completed several training programs, including: the Diplomatic Leadership Program from the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy , the Happiness and Positivity Program from the University of Berkeley in the United States, and the Certified Trainer of Trainers Program from the Communications Academy.

She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration in 2020 from the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government , a Mini Master’s degree in Business Administration in 2006 from the Drucker Institute in the United States of America, a Diploma in Professionalism and Institutional Excellence in 2010 from the Oxford Training College in the United Kingdom, a Diploma in Information Systems and Technology in 2005 from the American University of Sharjah , an Expert Diploma in Excellence in 2013 from the same university, a Diploma in Service Development Expert in 2015 from the American University in Dubai , and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Dubai .
