Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi

Ruler of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah since October 2010, United Arab Emirates. He is a member of the Supreme Council of the Federation. He assumed the presidency of the “Amiri Diwan” in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in 1979 after completing his university studies, and the presidency of the “Municipal Council” in the emirate in 1986. After becoming the Crown Prince, he established the “Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority” in 2005, to implement and manage development activities and repair infrastructure. He assumed the rule of the emirate on October 27, 2010. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economic and political sciences in 1979 from the University of Michigan in the United States of America.
