Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi

Head of the Department of Civil Aviation in Ras Al Khaimah , United Arab Emirates. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ras Al Khaimah National Travel Agency “Ranta” , a member of the “ UAE General Civil Aviation Authority ”, a member of the “ Executive Council of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah ”, founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “ Emirates Fencing Federation ”, and Chairman of the Fencing Regulatory Committee in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. And a member of the Board of Directors of the UAE National Olympic Committee. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah (RAKBANK), and served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ras Al Khaimah International Airport . He also contributed to the establishment of the Civil Aviation Department in Ras Al Khaimah. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the American University of Sharjah , a Bachelor of Science in Mining and Mining Engineering from the University of Arizona in the United States, a diploma in Civil Aviation and Space Law from Canada, and an Executive Certificate in Innovations in Governance in 2005 from the University of Sharjah. Harvard University, and an executive certificate in 2005 from the European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD) in France. He is also a graduate of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Development Programme.
