He was named Minister of the “Ministry of Presidential Affairs” in 2004, after the merger of the Office of the President and the Presidential Office, and he was assigned to head the “Ministerial Council for Services” in 2006, whose name was changed in February 2016 to the “Ministerial Council for Development.”

In 1997, he was appointed head of the office of his father, late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the UAE, where he remained with him until his passing in November 2004. He became Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in the Ministry of Presidential Affairs in the 2009 ministerial formation.

Sheikh Mansour also held a number of positions, including:

The President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan awarded him the “Pakistan Crescent Medal” on August 20, 2019, in appreciation of his efforts to support and support Pakistan in all humanitarian and development fields and to enhance bilateral relations, friendship ties and joint work between the two countries.

He has sporting interests, as he is the owner of Manchester City Club, and he is also the honorary vice president and club president of Al Jazira Sports Club.
