Sheikh Maktoum bin Hasher Al Maktoum

Emirati businessman. He is the CEO of Al Fajr Real Estate Company, a member of the Board of Directors of the Commercial Bank of Dubai, and a shareholder in the Virgin Megastore in the United Arab Emirates. He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai International Holding Company, Shuaa Capital Company between 2011 and 2015, Gulf Finance Company, CEO of Al Fajr Group, and was a director at Hult International Business School. He also founded Grand Prix Limited in 2001 and served as its CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors. He was awarded the “Best CEO” award for the year 2009 in the real estate sector for the Middle East and North Africa region by the “Middle East CEO Magazine”, and the title of “Young Global Leader” for the year 2007 by the “World Economic Forum”. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance from Boston University in the United States of America.
