Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi since March 29, 2023, United Arab Emirates.

He is Vice Chairman of the “ Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi ” since 2010, First Vice President of “ Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club ”, First Vice Chairman of the Council of Honor and Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of “ Abu Dhabi National Oil Company - ADNOC ” since February 28, 2021. And membership in the Supreme Petroleum Council .

He joined the State Security Service in 1983, where he served as Deputy Head of the Service between 1989 and 1992, and Head of the Service between 1992 and 2006. He also served as National Security Advisor between 2006 and 2016. He also chaired the Board of Directors of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the State Security Service. Management of the “ Abu Dhabi Housing Authority ”, and presidency of the “Abu Dhabi Sports Council”.

He also held the honorary presidency of the UAE Football Association in recognition of his pioneering role in developing football and his constant support for it, which contributed to the prosperity of the UAE sports movement and its progress regionally and globally.

He supervises many sports activities that take place in the country and in Abu Dhabi in particular, and is known for his strong relationship with sports circles, especially with sports media in the UAE.

He graduated from the College of Political and Administrative Sciences at the United Arab Emirates University.
