He holds a number of positions, including:

He served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Investment Corporation of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council .

He won many championships and medals in equestrian sports, including the individual gold medal at the World Youth Championship in 2001 in Spain. He was also crowned champion of the Spanish King’s Cup in 2002. As an Arab, he won the Emirates Airline Endurance Championship in Syria in 1999 and the Bahrain King’s Cup. 2008.

He published several poetry collections, in addition to his sporting interests in equestrian sports.

He graduated in 2001 from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom. He also passed several specialized economic training courses at the London School of Economics and the Dubai School of Government.

He has two sons: Rashid bin Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikha bint Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
