Shaima Al-Suwaidi

Executive Director of the Arts, Design and Literature Sector at the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority since April 14, 2025, United Arab Emirates

She is a member of the Dubai Media Diplomacy and Communication Network at the Government of Dubai Media Office and the General Government Communication Network at the Executive Council of Dubai .

She held the positions of Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications at the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Executive Director of the Arts and Literature Sector at the same authority, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications at the Community Development Authority , and Head of Marketing and Acting Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications at the same institution.

She also served as Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications and Vice Chair of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee at Wasl Properties , and worked as a Sales Executive at Emaar Properties .

She has experience in corporate communications, advertising, social media, brand management, and events.

She graduated from the Women in Global Boards Programme in June 2023, organised by the Dubai Women Establishment in collaboration with the Institute of Directors in the United Kingdom, and from the Dubai Leaders Programme in 2021 from the Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Leadership Development . She also completed the International Media Diplomacy Programme in 2017 at the Protocol School of Washington in the United States, and the Cambridge Middle East Leadership Programme in 2017.
