Sarah Al Marzouqi

Director of Public Libraries at Sharjah Book Authority since October 2017, United Arab Emirates. Member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Library and Information Association since April 2018, and a writer for Al Roya Newspaper. She held the position of Director of the Sharjah Public Library at Sharjah Book Authority between 2016 and 2017, Head of the Purchasing Committee at Sharjah International Book Fair between 2016 and 2019, Director of the Talent Center at Sharjah Ladies Club between 2011 and 2016, and Coordinator of the Arts and Education Center at the same club between 2009 and 2011, and worked as a teacher at the UAE Ministry of Education between 2006 and 2009. She holds a PhD in Educational Leadership in 2021 from Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University , a Master’s in Communication and Media Studies in 2010 from the University of Sharjah , and a Bachelor’s in English Language and Literature in 2004 from the same university.
