Founder and CEO of BE Plus Capital Advisors since 2012, UAE. CEO of RAK International Corporate Centre since April 2018, Board Member of Eureka Platform since 2014. He is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA ) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in the UK since 1987, and a Visiting Fellow at Oxford University Business School in the UK since 2008. He was a Board Member of the Dubai International Financial Centre from 2004 to 2016, the Hawkamah Institute of Corporate Governance, and a member of the MENA Advisory Board of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in the UK from 2011 to 2018. He held the position of CEO of Shuaa Capital between 2009 and 2011, Chairman and CEO of Dubai International Capital between 2004 and 2009, CFO of the Executive Office in Dubai between 2003 and 2005, and Founder and CEO of Amlak Finance in 2000. He also worked as CFO at Dubai Aluminium Company (DUBAL) between 1992 and 2000, and as Senior Manager at Ernst & Young between 1987 and 1992. He holds an honorary doctorate in finance in 2009 from Loughborough University in the United Kingdom, a diploma in industrial studies from the same university, and a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance in 1984 from Loughborough University in the United Kingdom.
