He is the Director of the Abu Dhabi Book Fair and a member of the Scientific Committee of the Sheikh Zayed Book Award.

He has experience in managing book and publishing industry initiatives, having held the position of Director of Creative Content at the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre , Director of Media and Public Relations at the Abu Dhabi Department of Tourism and Culture, and Executive Director at the Sheikh Zayed Book Award.

He started his career as a field editor at Al Khaleej newspaper, then as an editor in the local section at Al Bayan newspaper. He was then appointed as a member of the section’s editorial secretariat and supervisor of the readers’ page, a member of the central review, and supervised the daily studies page and the political file that was issued weekly with the newspaper. He also supervised the publication of 35 books within the “Al Bayan Book” series.

He wrote opinion articles in the cultural pages of many newspapers. He had a daily weekly article in Al Bayan Newspaper, a column called “Mosaic” in Al Khaleej Newspaper, and a weekly article in Al Mar’a Al Youm Magazine called “Haramlek.”

He has published several books, including “From and to the Depths of the Homeland,” “Mosaic” in 2010, and “Her Majesty’s Mistakes” in 2010, both published by the Arab Foundation for Studies and Publishing .
