Ravi Kumar

Executive Director of the Services and Business Department at Crescent Petroleum , United Arab Emirates.

He is an Executive Director at Crescent Enterprises, a member of the Board of Directors of the Crescent Group, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in London, in addition to his membership in the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants in India.

He is responsible for managing the international office operations of Crescent Enterprises through effective and innovative shared business services including accounts, human resources and organizational development, information and communications technology, and supply chain management.

Ravi is responsible for developing the strategic direction of the company's SAP ERP systems and ensuring the organization is transformed and prepared to meet the challenges of business growth and market dynamics. He also assumes responsibility for strategic direction and management oversight regarding the company's operations and investments, and also participates in business development activities.

Ravi Kumar developed a framework to define Crescent Enterprises' sustainability strategy and goals to drive change and ensure that the principles of environmental health, social well-being and economic performance are embedded in the organisation's strategy, operations and reporting.

As a member of the Board of Directors of Al Hilal Group, Rafi is responsible for overseeing corporate affairs and business services, where he plays a key role in setting the corporate governance framework for the group and its main subsidiaries.

Before joining Al Hilal Group in 1991, Ravi worked in the audit department of Ernst & Young in the United Arab Emirates and AF Ferguson in India.

Ravi holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honors from Delhi University and is a Chartered Certified Accountant.
