Rashid Saif Al Jarwan Al Shamsi

Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dana Gas Company , United Arab Emirates.

He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the same company since 2008. He is also a member of the boards of directors of several institutions, including: Emirates General Petroleum Corporation “Emarat”, “ Oman Insurance Company ”, “ Mashreq Bank ” since 2013, and “Abdullah Al Ghurair Holding Company Limited”. And the “Arab Scandinavian Insurance Company” since May 18, 2023.

He has more than 40 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, where he previously held the position of Acting CEO for a year and before that the position of General Manager of “Dana Gas Company” for three years.

He also served as General Manager of the Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company Limited “ADGAS” in Abu Dhabi for 8 years. He was also Deputy General Manager of the Abu Dhabi Onshore Petroleum Operations Company “ADCO”, and Assistant to the Assistant General Manager of “ZADCO Company” in Abu Dhabi, in addition to holding several administrative positions. She was a technician in the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company “ADNOC” group of companies for 28 years.

He was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Dubai International Financial Center Authority, the Dubai International Financial Centre , the National Petroleum Construction Company, the National Drilling Company, and the Industrial Development Company in Sharjah, as well as the... Fertilizer Industries in Ruwais “Fertil” in Abu Dhabi.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in petroleum and natural gas engineering from Pennsylvania State University in the United States of America.
