Rashed Alblooshi

Undersecretary of the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi since August 7, 2019, United Arab Emirates.

He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the “ Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development ” since March 3, 2019, and a member of the Board of Directors of “Q Holding Company” since November 10, 2021, and the “ Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority ” since March 19, 2019.

He served as Acting Undersecretary of the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi between 2018 and 2019, CEO of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange between 2012 and 2018, and Executive Vice President of the Market between 2007 and 2012, and began his working life at the Abu Dhabi Securities Market as Director of the Clearing and Settlement Department. Deposit and registration in 2000. Before joining the market, he also worked as head of registration and deposit in the Saadiyat Free Zone between 1997 and 2000 in Abu Dhabi.

He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration in 2005 from the United Arab Emirates University , and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from Benedict College in the United States of America.
