Raja Al Mazrouei

She has been managing director of the same company since November 2022, and was appointed a Board Member there in January 2022.

She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the National Cement Company since April 22, 2021, Afkar Ventures since September 2020, the Arab Bank for Investment and Foreign Trade “Al Masraf” since September 2019, and a member of the Global Advisory Council for the Middle East and North Africa region. Africa and Central Asia at Harvard Business School since July 2016.

She held several positions in the Dubai International Financial Center, including: Executive Vice President of Fintech Hive between April 2017 and November 2022, Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications between 2014 and 2017, Director of Operations between 2013 and 2014, Head of Information Technology between 2010 and 2013, and President Information technology at the National Bonds Company between 2009 and 2010. She also served as a member of the Advisory Board of the Dubai Chamber for the Digital Economy , and a member of the Board of Directors of Dubai Fintech Ventures between January 2019 and November 2022.

She held the position of Vice President of the “HBS Club for the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries” between May 2014 and January 2021, and Director of Information Technology Relationships at Dubai Holding Company between 2007 and 2009, and Director of Information Technology in the same company between 2005 and 2007. She was also a supervisor. Systems development at the Higher Colleges of Technology between 2000 and 2005.

She was ranked among the “100 Most Powerful Businesswomen in the Middle East” for the year 2023 by Forbes Middle East, and was also chosen by the “Innovate Finance” Association among the “Women in Fintech” list of the most powerful women working in the field of fintech for the year 2017.

She holds a master’s degree in management and leadership in 2005 from the United Arab Emirates University , and a bachelor’s degree in business information technology in 2001 from the Higher Colleges of Technology. She also obtained a certificate in leadership in 2012 from the London Business School, and a certificate from the “Advanced Program.” in Management in 2014 from Harvard Business School in the United States.
