He is the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Abdulaziz bin Talal and Sora bint Saud Foundation for Human Development "Ahyaha Foundation" since 2017. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Open University, the Center of Arab Women for Training and Research "CAWTAR", and the Arab Council for Childhood and Development "ACCD" since March 11, 2019.
In addition, he chairs the Prince Talal International Prize for Human Development Committee, is a member of the Advisory Council of the Concordia Summit, and holds the title of Honorary President of the Saudi Society of Family and Community Medicine.
He previously served as Chairman of the Arab Open University Forum, Atlantic International Broadcasting Group, and Saudi International Presence Company. He was also Honorary President of the Internet and Information Technology Services Conference, and Vice Chairman of Afaq Investment Company. Moreover, he is a member of the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations.
He studied in Switzerland and participated in executive education programs at Harvard University and The George Washington University.
