Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Rotana Hotel Management Company”, United Arab Emirates. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Aswaaq Management and Services Company”, “Beirut Real Estate Company for Management and Services”, and “Gulf Management and Services Company”, a member of the Board of Directors of “ Al Baraka Banking Group ” in Bahrain, and a founding partner in “ Queen Center Rotana Suites Company ”. “In Syria, he owns 76,660 shares in the company, at a rate of 3.8%, worth 76,660,000 Syrian pounds. He is a director in Solidere International , and a director and founder of Rotana Hotel Services Company, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He founded the “ Abu Dhabi National Hotels Company ” and held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors for 14 years. He also held the position of Executive Director of the “ Abu Dhabi Fund for Development ”, and was Undersecretary of both the “ Ministry of Finance ” and the “ Ministry of Industry ”. He holds a BA in Economics from New York University in the United States of America.
