Najiba Al-Jabri

Vice President of Production Technology at Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) since March 2016, United Arab Emirates. Member of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Ports Company since December 2021. With 20 years of experience in chemical engineering, she joined EGA in 2013 and rose through the ranks to reach her current position. Prior to that, she held the position of Production Line Manager at Emirates Aluminium (EMAL ). She started her career as an engineer at Dubai Aluminium (DUBAL) in 2001, then joined the operations team in 2004 and was the first woman to work in the operations team, working as a control engineer. In 2006, she was appointed Production Line Operations Manager in the Middle East, and was the first woman to hold this position. She holds an MBA in 2018 from Hult International Business School in Britain, a Master’s in Process Control in 2007 from the University of New South Wales in Australia, a Certificate in Aluminum Smelting, and a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering in 2001 from the United Arab Emirates University.
