Nadia Bastaki

Chief People, Government and Corporate Affairs at Etihad Airways since June 2025, United Arab Emirates.

She is a member of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and the Air Transport Committee of the Aeronautical Medical Association in the United States of America.

She is also the first Emirati woman to specialize in aviation and space medicine, and the first Emirati woman doctor to be registered as an aviation medicine specialist with the Health Authority Abu Dhabi.

She joined Etihad Airways as a general practitioner in the Medical Services Department, and then served as a Senior Aviation Specialist, Vice President of Medical Strategy and Corporate Social Responsibility, Vice President of Medical Services, Head of the Aviation Medicine Centre, Leader of Diversity, Inclusion and Corporate Social Responsibility Programs, and Chief People and Corporate Affairs Officer.

She was also a scientific reviewer for the Health Authority Abu Dhabi, responsible for approving publications related to aviation medicine and occupational medicine before they were released to the public.

She has over 20 years of experience as a practicing physician and has received several awards and titles from the General Authority of Civil Aviation in recognition of her achievements and efforts in the field of medicine.

She holds a Master's degree in Occupational Medicine from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom, and a Diploma in Aviation Medicine from King's College London in 2009.
