Muied bin Nasser Al Bishi

Executive Vice President of Strategy and Innovation at the Social Development Bank since 2016, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In addition to his executive role, he serves on the boards of several organizations.

He has more than 21 years of experience across various sectors, including energy, electricity, gas, petroleum, telecommunications, and development banking. His expertise covers strategy management, organizational change, restructuring, and transformation in both the public and private sectors, with a strong focus on entrepreneurship development and SME financing.

He has contributed to empowering the non-profit sector, enhancing its role in sustainable development, and supporting corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, ensuring their integration into institutional strategies.

His previous roles include Executive Director of the Project Management Office at Mobily, Program and Projects Manager at Al Faisaliah Medical Company, a subsidiary of Al Faisaliah Group, Project Manager at Samsung, and Project Engineer at the Saudi Electricity Company .

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (2004) from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, a High Performance Boards Diploma (2021) from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Switzerland. He has also completed several training programs and courses, including the Board Readiness Program (2024) from the Centre for Governance and the Institute of Directors in the UK, the Strategic Management in Banking Program (2022) from INSEAD, and the Senior Executive Program (2025) from London Business School.
