Muhammad Omar Abdullah

Member of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority , United Arab Emirates. He is a recognized specialist and expert in the field of law, banking and economic development. He served as Undersecretary of the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry between 1997 and 2007, a non-executive director of the same bank between 2003 and 2013, and a director of the National Drilling Company until 2016. He also served as a member of the boards of directors of : “ National Bank of Abu Dhabi ”, “ Abu Dhabi Media ”, “ Abu Dhabi Ports ”, “Khalifa Fund to Support Small and Medium Enterprises”, “Abu Dhabi Retirement Pensions and Benefits Fund”, “ Higher Corporation for Specialized Economic Zones ”, “ Abu Dhabi Council for Economic Development ” . In 2013, he obtained a doctorate from the University of Northampton in the United Kingdom.
