Mubarak Hamad Al Muhairi

Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of “ Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Human Sciences ” since February 14, 2023, United Arab Emirates.

He has been Undersecretary of the Department of Education and Knowledge since October 27, 2022, and has been a member of the Supreme Committee for the seventh session of the Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Program for Excellence and Community Intelligence since March 2023.

He assumed the position of Director General of the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi , Vice Chairman of the National Council for Tourism and Antiquities, Managing Director of the Tourism Development and Investment Company, and a member of the Board of Directors of Etihad Airways , Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre , Abu Dhabi Media Company , and Abu Dhabi Airports Company .

He also worked at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority , and was Director General of the Economic Development and Tourism Promotion Authority in Al Ain.

He holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Portland in the United States of America, and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the United Arab Emirates University .
