in her role, Moza leads Sharjah Women’s Sports with a mission to empower women in sports and strengthen their presence on both local and international levels.

She is recognized as a financial expert by the UAE Ministry of Economy and a certified legal expert for UAE courts in adjudicating financial cases, She also holds an international certification in management accounting "ACCA".

Moza actively contributes to various boards and committees, including:

  • Board Member of the UAE Women’s Sports Federation and Head of the National Teams Committee.
  • Member of the Financial Committee in the UAE National Olympic Committee in 2024.
  • Member of the Financial Committee in the Gulf Youth Games 2024.
  • Member of the Supreme Committee for the 7th edition of the Arab Women’s Sports Tournament 2024.

Moza Al Shamsi has over 19 years of experience in leadership roles across the government and sports sectors. Previously, she served as Deputy Director of Sharjah Youth, one of the entities under the “Rubu’Qarn” for Creating Leaders and Innovators, where she contributed significantly to creating an inspiring environment for youth, fostering innovation and leadership.

Moza began her career in the sports sector as the Head of the Financial Department at the Sharjah Sports Council, which provided her with deep expertise in sports financial management. She has also served as a member of the UAE Football Association’s Governance Committee (Wages, Salaries, and Player Contracts).

She was also a member of the Financial Governance Committee at the Sharjah Sports Council, where she oversaw the development of financial and administrative systems from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, she served as a member of the Financial Committee for the AFC Asian Cup 2019.

In addition to her leadership roles, Moza is also a experienced entrepreneur. She was honored with the “Best Commercial Project Award” for her graduation project at the University of Sharjah in 2015.
