Editor-in-Chief of “Emirates Today” newspaper since October 2022, United Arab Emirates.
She held the position of editor-in-chief of the Emirati newspaper Al-Bayan between 2016 and 2022, where she is considered the first female editor-in-chief of a daily newspaper. She also held the position of director of the Dubai Press Club.
She held several positions in the Emirates Journalists Association, including: President of the Association, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Secretary of the Association. She also chaired the Board of Directors of the “Social Solidarity Fund for Members of the Journalists Association,” and served as a member of the Board of Directors of the “Dubai Women’s Foundation” and a member of the permanent office in the Board of Directors. She began her career as a journalist in the Emirati newspaper Al-Ittihad in 1998, and assumed the position of office manager of the same newspaper in Dubai. Then she joined the Dubai Press Club in 2008, where she supervised the “Arab Journalism Award,” the “Arab Media Forum,” and “A look at the Arab media report.”
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism in 1997 from the United Arab Emirates University.
