Mohammed Hamad Al-Muhairi

CEO of Emirates Investment Authority since November 2023, United Arab Emirates.

He held the position of CEO of Aabar Investments between 2015 and 2023, and Executive Director of Financial Institutions at Mubadala Investment Company.

Al-Muhairi also held the following previous positions:

• Executive Director of Strategic Assets at Emirates Investment Authority.
• Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of " Arabtec Holding Company ".
• Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Qatar Abu Dhabi Investment Company".
• Chairman of the Board of Directors of " Depa Group ".
• Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Gulf Energy Marine Company".
• Director of Investment Department at the International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) between 2007 and 2009.
• Investment Manager at International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) between 2006 and 2007.
• Market Analyst in Marketing and Sales Research and Sales Coordinator in the Crude Oil Sales Division of the Marketing Department at Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) between 1999 and 2006.

He served as a member of the board of directors of several companies and institutions, including: “ Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank ” between 2019 and 2020, “ Emirates Foundation for Youth Development ”, “ Aabar Investments ”, “UniCredit S.p.A.” in Italy, “Nova Chemicals” in Canada, “Cosmo Oil”, “ Etihad Airways”, “Emirates General Petroleum Corporation ”, and “ Al Hilal Bank ”. He was a member of the supervisory board of “Borealis AG”, and an external director of “Cosmo Oil”.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance from Suffolk University in the United States of America.
