He joined the family business in 1996, when he moved to Saudi Arabia and found himself at the heart of the family business, and played a pivotal role in developing the group's overall strategic plans, and helped it take its first steps towards luxury retail, and played an effective role in rebuilding the management structure and reformulating the company's policies, which led to high levels of employee satisfaction. He held several senior positions in Saudi Arabia within supply chain management during the 10 years he spent there, where he helped establish the company's business in Saudi Arabia by launching several diverse initiatives and campaigns, which led to record growth rates, and he is credited with consolidating the company's market position and building the value of the group's name. Since his appointment as Group CEO in 2006, he has successfully implemented significant and far-reaching reforms to the company, playing a major role in bringing the company back to its peak of prosperity. By predicting significant growth in business volume, he increased the number of stores, profits and number of employees. This led the company under his leadership to shift towards corporate governance, which led to changes in policies, structure and procedures. He transferred his strategic leadership skills and extensive knowledge of branding, marketing and business, acquired over 10 years working for his family business in Saudi Arabia, to Paris Gallery in 2006. His strategy, which he implemented and led to customer loyalty, was to build a customer-centric organization that would be a luxury retail chain dedicated to providing customers with exclusive and unique luxury products. He led corporate social responsibility initiatives, resulting in the group’s consistent and regular contributions to non-profit organizations such as Dubai Cares, which works to improve the lives of underprivileged children around the world, Al Jalila Foundation, Dubai Police , Future Centre for Special Needs, and Dubai Rehabilitation Centre. The group also contributed to campaigns such as the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, to name a few examples among many others in which the group played a major role in terms of support and encouragement. He was selected among the 100 most powerful Arabs in the world in 2014, and won the “CEO of the Year” award in 2013 in the Retail category, granted to CEOs in the Middle East, and was the only Arab speaker at the “Link Jewellery Summit” in Vienna. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Eastern Kentucky University in the United States of America in 1992.
