Mohammed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim

Emirati businessman.

He is the Chairman of the Al Fahim Family Council, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Future Centre, and a member of the Supervisory Board of the Al Fahim Group .

He held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Al Fahim Group”, and First Vice President of the “ Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry ”, and was a member of the Board of Directors of the same chamber. He also held a position on the Board of Directors of “Al-Hattaf Company” and “Public Works Council”.

He helped sponsor the Future Center and Special Care Center, two non-profit organizations for children with special needs.

He joined the family business after completing his studies in the United Kingdom in 1968, and with the help of his father, Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, he was able to diversify and develop the group’s activities.

He has been a keynote speaker at a number of conferences in the Gulf region and has been invited to speak at a number of universities in the United States of America, where some of the topics he has spoken about have included: the challenges facing family businesses, public offerings as a means of continued expansion and growth, privatization, benchmarking and the importance of human resources.

He won the “Best CEO Award in Gulf Companies” for the year 1995, and the “Excellence Award in the Arab Business Sector” for the year 2007.

He has published a number of books, including: “From Rags to Riches: The Story of Abu Dhabi” in English, which has been translated and published in more than 10 languages, and “A Guide to Starting a Business in the UAE” in both Arabic and English. He also co-authored a book in English entitled “Through the Eyes of a Child: Mohammed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, Memories of Abu Dhabi Before My Birth and During My Childhood.”
