Matar Rashid bin Jabr Al Suwaidi

Senior Vice President of Terminal Operations at Abu Dhabi Airports Company since March 2022, United Arab Emirates. He held the position of General Manager of four airports affiliated with the same company, namely: Al Ain International , Al Bateen Executive Aviation , Sir Bani Yas , and Delma between 2021 and 2022, Head of Administrative Services and Procurement at the UAE Space Agency between July 2017 and February 2021, and Head of Space Policy at the same entity between September 2015 and February 2021. He held several positions at the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority , namely: Director of Foreign Operators Affairs in the Safety Affairs Sector between 2014 and 2015, Director of Planning and Standards in the same sector between 2012 and 2014, and Airworthiness Inspector between 2009 and 2012. He also worked as an aircraft engineer at the beginning of his career. He holds a Master’s degree in Aviation and Space Management in 2003 from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in the United States of America.
