She established the Environmental Department in Civil Aviation in the UAE in 2006, and established the Environmental Department in both Dubai Airports in 2008 and the General Civil Aviation Authority in 2010, and was elected as the first chairwoman of the Environment Committee at the Arab Civil Aviation Organization affiliated with the League of Arab States . She represented the UAE as an official spokesperson in many local, regional and international meetings, and held the position of Director of the Environment at the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, where she worked as a legal legislator for hazardous materials and an environmental officer, an environmental officer at the Emirates General Petroleum Corporation , and an administrative assistant and teaching assistant at Dubai Men’s College, affiliated with the Higher Colleges of Technology, between 2003 and 2004. She also participated in the establishment of Dar Mulhamoon for Publishing and Distribution, and the Emirates Society for the Art of Arabic Calligraphy and Islamic Ornamentation in 2014, and served as a member of the Board of Directors of the same association, and a member of the Council of the College of Engineering at the United Arab Emirates University . She won the “Sayidaty Award for Creativity and Excellence” in 2016, the “Leadership Personality in Aviation Award” at the “Middle East Business Leaders Awards” from the “American Leadership Development Association” in 2015, the “Leadership Personality in Aviation Award” from the “Middle East Institute for Excellence” in 2014, the “Young Talent Award for the Year 2015” at the launch ceremony of the “Arab Woman Award 2015”, and the “Excellence Award for Female Leadership Personality” in the field of aviation in 2014. She was also selected among the “List of the 50 Most Prominent Arab Personalities” in the “ Sayidaty Magazine ” survey in 2014, and was selected by the “US Department of State”. She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences in 2009 from the United Arab Emirates University , and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering in 2002 from the same university.
