Maryam Al-Muhayyas

Executive Director of Government Communication Affairs at the Abu Dhabi Government Media Office since August 2021, United Arab Emirates.

She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Safer Internet Association , a member of the Emirates Accountants and Auditors Association , a member of the Abu Dhabi Committee for the Federal National Council Elections since June 2023, and a member of the Higher Organizing Committee for the IDEX and NAVDEX exhibitions since 2023.

She held several positions at Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), including: Vice President of Strategic Planning and Development, Acting Vice President of Corporate Development and Retail Sector Departments, and Director of Budgets and Contracts Department for the Public Services Sector between 2019 and 2022.

She also chaired the Abu Dhabi Youth Council for its third term between 2019 and 2022, and held several positions in the Abu Dhabi Department of Transport, including: Director of the Institutional Support Department, Director of the Financial Planning Department, and Financial Advisor to the Chairman of the Department.

She has won many awards, including: “Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic Performance”, “Al Sadara Award for Government Excellence” for the Best Administrative Supervision category, and “Al Nawaif Award for Distinguished Government Performance” for the Best Administrative Supervision category.

She holds an MBA in 2016 from the New York Institute of Technology in the United States of America, a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Business Administration and Finance in 2008 from the same institute, a Diploma in Executive Leadership from Imperial College London, a Diploma in Executive Leadership in 2020 from the University of California Berkeley in the United States, a Diploma in Management and Economics in 2020 from the International Institute for Management Development in Switzerland, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate in 2009, in addition to graduating from the third batch of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Program for Influential Leaders in 2020.
