Maryam Al-Ghawi

Director of the Gifted Care Department at the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance since 2012, United Arab Emirates. She is a member of the European Association for Giftedness "ECHA". She started her career as a teacher and then an educational guide at the " UAE Ministry of Education ", and progressed until she held the position of Deputy Director of the Department of People with Special Abilities in the Ministry. She has a research study on gifted programs in the United Arab Emirates published in the magazine "cogentoa". Winner of the "Rashid Award for Scientific Excellence". She holds a Master's and PhD in Education from the "British University in Dubai" in partnership with the "University of Birmingham" in the United Kingdom, specializing in gifted education, and a Bachelor's degree in Education, specializing in special education from the " United Arab Emirates University ".
