Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission since 2021, United Arab Emirates.

He is a member of the National Media Team accredited by the UAE Cabinet .

He served as Strategic Communication Advisor at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs , Executive Director at the International Centre of Excellence for Countering Violent Extremism ( Hedayah ), Psychological Affairs Advisor at Global Aerospace Logistics, a subsidiary of Emirates Advanced Investments Group, between 2011 and 2012, and Head of Planning at the same company between 2010 and 2011. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund in Geneva, and worked as a psychologist for the UAE Armed Forces between 2000 and 2010.

He published a research chapter entitled “The Psychological Foundations of Tolerance” in the book “Tolerance: The UAE as a Pioneer, Approach and Application” in 2019. He also has a research paper entitled “Towards a Neurological Model of Talent: A Conceptual Perception” in 2019, and a paper entitled “Strategies for Countering Violent Extremism in the Islamic World” in 2016.

He holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology in 2009 from the University of Melbourne in Australia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2000 from the United Arab Emirates University .
