Majid Saif Al Ghurair

CEO of Al Ghurair Group , United Arab Emirates. He is the Chairman of “Al Reef Mall”, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Dubai Shopping Malls Group”, “Al Ghurair Iron and Steel Company”, “Burjuman Centre”, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Taweelah Aluminum Extrusion Company “Talex”. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Islamic Economic Development Centre , a member of the Advisory Board of the Harvard Business Review Arabia , and a member of the World Economic Forum, the Dubai Economic Council, and the Dubai Financial Support Fund. He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry between 2015 and 2021, Drake & Scull International, Shuaa Capital, and Chairman of the Middle East Shopping Centers Council, and was a member of the Board of Directors of both. National Cement Company, Nasdaq Dubai , Mashreq Bank, and Investcorp Bank. He won the “Business Leader Personality of the Year 2014” award in the United Arab Emirates from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum . He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 1989 from the United Arab Emirates University.
