She is a member of many international engineering institutions, bodies and organizations around the world, including: Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), Women Engineers International (SWE), Engineering for Change (E4C), American Nuclear Society (ANS), Women in Nuclear (WiN), and Scrum Alliance. She worked on the construction of Barakah Nuclear Power Plants of Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation . She has won many awards in the fields of science and technology and was honored by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. She also received the "Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Family", and received the "Scrum Expert Certificate" for programmers from the "Scrum Alliance" in addition to the "International Certificate in Innovation Management". She won first place in many competitions and challenges, most notably the "Scientific Creativity Challenge" at the state level in 2006, the "Math Day Challenge" at the " United Arab Emirates University " in 2007, and the "Smart Electricity Grid Design Challenge" from "Siemens" in the United States of America in 2012. She holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the "University of Minnesota" in the United States of America, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the same university, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
