Maitha Al Marar

Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Abu Dhabi Ports Group since January 2022, United Arab Emirates.

She has been the Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Localization Committee in the same group since 2017.

She held several positions at Abu Dhabi Ports Group , including: Senior Partner for Human Resources Business between 2015 and 2017, Director of Human Resources between 2009 and 2015, and Head of Employee Relations between 2008 and 2009.

She served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Port of Fujairah in 2019, and held the position of Senior Partner for Human Resources Business at the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company ( ADNOC ). She also held leadership positions in human resources within a number of entities in Abu Dhabi, including the Commercial Buildings Department at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre .

In 2015, she participated as a speaker at the International HR Technologies Conference in Paris, and was also among the speakers in the conference’s Local Talent Investment session, where she highlighted Abu Dhabi Ports’ experience in the field of Emiratisation.

She has an experience in the areas of strategic human resources, innovation strategy, training, operational excellence, and performance evaluation.

She holds a Master’s degree in Business Psychology from Heriot-Watt University in the United Kingdom in 2021, a Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies in 2000 from the United Arab Emirates University , a Human Resources Training Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), and a Professional Management Certificate from the Dhraa Institute.
