Maha Al Fahim

Research Specialist in the Macro, Fixed Income and Treasury Research Department at   Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA ) since June 2013, United Arab Emirates.

She is the founder of High Water Venture Partners and the Investment Director of the Investment and Financial Policy Team at the Supreme Council for Financial and Economic Affairs since 2021.

She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Emirates Takaful Life Insurance Company ( METILCO ) since August 2023, the Arab Islamic Insurance Company ( SALAMA ) since April 24, 2023, and Al- Ishraq Investment Company since April 27, 2021. She has also been the Treasurer of the Emirates Entrepreneurial Investors Association since October 2024.

She has 11 years of experience in investment and research gained through her work in government sectors in the UAE, USA and Canada, where she worked as an analyst at the American Enterprise Institute between 2012 and 2013, and as a research assistant at the University of Michigan between 2009 and 2012.

She holds a BA with a double major in Political Science and Comparative International Studies and a minor in Middle East and North African Studies in 2012 from the University of Michigan in the United States of America.
