Magdy Ibrahim Qassem

Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Center for Commercial Conciliation and Arbitration , United Arab Emirates. He is the first advisor for arbitration and legislative affairs to the Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority . He was an advisor to the Minister of Economy in the UAE, President of the Cairo Court of Appeal, and Head of the Studies and Research Department at the Institute of Training and Judicial Studies. He rose to the positions of the Egyptian Public Prosecution between 1981 and 2003, including: Deputy Public Prosecutor, Director of Public Prosecution, Judge in the Courts of First Instance, President of the Class B Court in the South Cairo Court of First Instance, Counselor in the High Courts of Appeal, and Deputy To the President and President of the Court of Appeal. He was a judge in the Federal Courts in the Emirates, and also served as a member of the Scientific Advisory Council of the Federal Institute for Judicial Training and Studies. He holds a doctorate in law from the Sorbonne University in France, and a master’s degree in law from the same university.
