Louis Irvine

He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.

He served as CFO of Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden ) between May and September 2022, Director of Forbes Irvine Consulting in London between 2020 and 2022, and Chief Financial Officer of Endeavour Mining Group in London between 2019 and 2020.

He also held the position of Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer at Anglo American between January 2014 and June 2019, Chief Financial Officer at the same company between July and December 2013, Chief Financial Officer at Xstrata Copper between 2004 and 2013, and BHP Billiton between 2001 and 2004, and Treasurer at Billiton South Africa between 1998 and 2001.

He has over 30 years of experience in financial management, strategy, marketing, M&A and business development.

Holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours, majoring in Accounting and Finance, 1989, from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa.
