He has been a member of the Board of Directors of “ Sandooq Al Watan ” since February 2020.
He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates and the Oman and Emirates Investment Holding Company, Managing Director and Member of the Founding Board of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank between 1996 and 1998, and Chairman of the Founding Committee of Al Hilal Bank in 2007, in addition to His membership in the Board of Directors of “Thuraya Telecommunications Company.”
He holds an honorary doctorate in law from the University of Bath in the United Kingdom, and a bachelor’s degree in economics.
