Khalid Marshood Al Rohily

General Manager of The National Research and Development Center for Sustainable Agriculture (Estidamah) since October 2024, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He has over 20 years of experience in agricultural research and innovation management.

Khalid served as Research Facilities Manager at Estidamah. Prior to that, he held several technical and administrative positions at the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), including Lead Scientist in the Agri-Nutrients Business Unit, Senior Manager, Marketing and Business Planning – Agriculture, Manager of Agricultural Technology Programming, and Manager of Application Development in the Fertilizer Strategic Business Unit. During his time at SABIC, he contributed to integrating sustainable practices and supporting communication with farmers through extension services.

He also worked as a scientist at SABIC Agri-Nutrients .

Al Rohily has led numerous national projects, served as a keynote speaker at a number of agricultural seminars, participated in a number of international conferences and workshops, and chaired and participated in numerous technical committees and teams in agricultural fields nationwide.

He has been granted several patents, published numerous research papers in international peer-reviewed journals, provided technical consultations, delivered numerous training courses for farmers in global and local markets, and supervised the coordination of joint international cooperation with numerous research centers and international universities.

He holds a PhD in Agricultural Sciences from King Saud University .
