Khalid Al-Nakhi

Director of Sharjah Capability Development, United Arab Emirates.

He currently serves as Finance Director for Sharjah Self Defense Club.

Khalid Al-Nakhi graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Richmond, The American International University in London, UK. He also completed the Sharjah Leadership Programme, conducted by Sharjah Capability Development "SCD" in association with the American University in Sharjah and Cambridge University in London, in 2017.

He commenced his career in September 2008 as a Tender Officer in the Procurement Department of the Engineers Office and worked for three years from 2013 to 2016 at the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation as Contract Specialist.

He also served as Contract Manager at Sharjah Asset Management for a brief period before moving on to his responsibilities in a directorial capacity at the Sharjah Sport Council in 2016.

Khalid Al-Nakhi has also been serving as Board Member of Sharjah Self Defense Club from April 2015 until September 2019.

He held the position of Director of Sports Development at the Sharjah Sport Council from 2016 to 2019, where he has been instrumental in raising the profile of sports development in the emirate through close coordination with sports clubs across Sharjah.

Khalid Al-Nakhi is also a participant of the Sharjah Leadership Program, a program organized by Sharjah Capability Development (formerly known as "Tatweer Forum") in collaboration with the American University of Sharjah & Cambridge University, which he completed in 2017.
