Khaled Saoud Al Hasan

CEO of “ Gulf Insurance Group ” since February 2002, State of Kuwait.

He is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the same group, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Syrian Kuwaiti Insurance Company " SKIC ", and the " Kuwait Insurance Union ", the General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors of " Fajr Al Khaleej Insurance and Reinsurance Company ", and the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the companies affiliated with the "Gulf Insurance Group", including: " Gulf Insurance Group - Jordan ", AXA Insurance Company " AXA Gulf " since November 17, 2021, "Arab Orient Insurance Company" in Jordan, " Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company " representing the "Gulf Insurance Group" since March 28, 2006, and " Arab Egyptian Insurance Group " in Egypt.

He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Arab Reinsurance Company in Lebanon, the International Takaful Company in Bahrain, and the Algerian Gulf Life Insurance Company.

He has over 30 years of experience in insurance and management.

He held several positions at “ Buruj Cooperative Insurance Company ”, namely: Managing Director between 2019 and 2022, Acting General Manager between December 10, 2020 and February 18, 2021, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.

He also held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Arab Orient Insurance Company”, Senior Manager of the Marine and Aviation Insurance Department in the same company until 2017, and Director of “Kuwait Reinsurance Company”. He also held the position of General Manager of the Fire and General Accidents Department at “Gulf Insurance Group”, Deputy General Manager of the Fire and General Accidents Department, and worked at “Gulf Investment Corporation”.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics in 1976 from Kuwait University .
