Khaled Ali Al-Bustani

Director General of the Federal Tax Authority, with the rank of Undersecretary, since 2017, in the United Arab Emirates. Before that, he served as Assistant Undersecretary for International Financial Relations at the Ministry of Finance in the UAE. His experience has varied in several fields, such as financial management, international financial relations, and information technology, as Al-Bustani has worked in the Ministry of Finance since 1980. He also held the position of Acting Director General of the Federal Customs Authority, and Executive Director of International Financial Relations Affairs in the Ministry of Finance in the UAE Federal Government. He served as Executive Director of the Resources and Budget Sector. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Boston University in the United States.
