Chief Internal Auditor and Risk Assessment Officer at Dubai Aviation City Corporation, UAE.
He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Al Noor Center for Training and Rehabilitation of Children with Special Needs”, “Emaar South Company”, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of “ Amlak Finance Company ” since May 10, 2021, the “Internal Auditors Association”, and “ Al Salam Bank ” in Bahrain since 2015.
He was a member of the Board of Directors of both Emaar Development Company since June 21, 2020 and April 18, 2023, and Amlak Finance Company before assuming his current position as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.
He founded the Internal Audit and Risk Assessment Group at Dubai Aviation City Corporation, participated in the establishment of the Dubai Department of Economic Development (Dubai Economy), Emaar Properties, the UAE Internal Auditors Association, and the Emirates Golf Association. He supervised the implementation of the construction of the new building for Al Noor Centre for Training and Rehabilitation of Children with Special Needs, and worked on the establishment of the Dubai Airport Free Zone in 1996 and headed its financial management.
He held several positions in the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates , including: Acting Director of the Banking Supervision Department, Assistant Director of the same department, Director of the Governor’s Office, and Head of Department in the Banking Supervision Department. He also worked in the Department of Economic Development in Dubai (Dubai Economy) .
He holds an MBA in 2004 from the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom, and a BA in Business Administration in 1983 from Al Ain University.
