Khaled Abdullah Salem Al Dhanhani

An Emirati writer and media figure. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fujairah Social and Cultural Association, the CEO of the Zayed Ambassadors International Cultural Initiative, and the Founder and President of the House of Poetry in Fujairah. He is also a candidate for the 2019 Federal National Council elections for the Emirate of Fujairah. He is a member of the Emirates Writers and Authors Union, the Fujairah Social and Cultural Association, the Dibba Association for Culture, Arts and Theater, the Dubai Press Club, the Emirates Journalists Association, the Arab Journalists Union, the International Federation of Journalists, and the Association of Parents of the Disabled. He participated in managing and presenting television programs on several channels, including: MBC 1, Sharjah TV, and Al Jadeed Channel. He also wrote for a number of Emirati newspapers and magazines, including: 999 Magazine, affiliated with the Ministry of Interior, Bridges, Al Bayan Newspaper, and Al Khaleej Newspaper. He has published two books: “The Successful Parliamentarian, the Federal National Council in the United Arab Emirates in Light of the Parliamentary Electoral Experience” in 2014, and “First Home” in 2016. He has held many positions, including: Vice President of the “Dibba Society for Culture, Arts and Theater” between 2009 and 2011, Editor-in-Chief of “Al Fanar News Website”, Director of the “Prince of Rhymes” Poetry Radio Competition in Fujairah in 2010, Media Coordinator for the UAE Pavilion at the “Cairo International Book Fair” in 2010, Media Coordinator for the “Fujairah Monodrama Festival” between 2004 and 2008, and Presenter and Producer of the “Samar” Poetry Program on “Sharjah Satellite Channel”. He was crowned as an Ambassador of International Tolerance at the National Forum for Creative Youth in Morocco by the "ALESCO Organization" and the "Moroccan Art and Creativity Forum" in 2019, and was honored with the "Peace Shield" as an Ambassador of International Peace at the "Ibn Battuta Forum" in Italy in 2017. He has received many awards, including: "International Cultural Personality of the Year Award" from the "Indian Literary Creativity Awards" in 2018, and "Dr. Abdul Kalam International Excellence Award" in 2016 from the "Indian Wings of Hope Organization", and he is the first Arab poet to receive this award. He also won the "Rashid bin Saeed Award for Academic Excellence" in 2000, and the "Ahmed bin Youssef Abdul Malik Poetry Award" in Bahrain in 2005, in addition to the "Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Award for Sports Poetry". He obtained a professional international trainer certificate from the American Leadership Academy "ALTA" and "MedX International", in addition to academic accreditation as a certified consultant in institutional development from the "Toronto International Business School" in Canada. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arabic and Islamic Studies in 2000 from the College of Arabic and Islamic Studies in Dubai.
